Can't find the answer? Write to us at soporte@levantapps.com. Tell us which device you use (model and iOS or Android version, or the browser) and what happened; if you have an account, write from its email. We answer as soon as we can, usually within a few business days.

The purchase

What is free and what do I buy?

The first spells are free to play, in the app and on the website. The rest are unlocked with a single purchase, the full game, made inside the app through the App Store or Google Play. It is not a subscription: you pay once, and it also unlocks the spells added later. Nothing is bought on the website.

I bought the full game and it doesn't unlock. What do I do?

Tap "Restore purchases": it is on the full game screen and under Account. The app asks the store and unlocks the spells if the purchase belongs to that store account. Check that the phone is online and that you are signed in with the same Apple or Google account you bought it with.

It says the purchase belongs to another Sortivara account

Each purchase belongs to a single Sortivara account: the one the phone was signed in to when you bought it. Sign in with that account and you'll have it. If you bought without an account and then create one on that device, the purchase moves to your account.

I changed phones, or deleted the app

The purchase is not lost: it is in your store account. Install Sortivara, sign in with the same store account and tap "Restore purchases". With a Sortivara account, sign in and you carry on from the spell you were on. Without an account, progress stays with each device: on the new one you start from the beginning.

The purchase is "pending"

This happens when an adult has to approve it (Apple's "Ask to Buy", Google Play's parental controls) or when the payment is made in cash or takes time to confirm. As soon as the store confirms it, the game unlocks by itself; there is no need to buy again.

I want a refund

Refunds are handled by the store: on the App Store at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Google Play from your order history. If the problem is a bug in the game, write to us too: we want to fix it.

The account

Do I need an account?

No. The whole game can be played without one. An account lets you continue your game on another device, keep it if you delete the app, and have your diplomas in your name. You need to be 16 to have one.

The email to confirm my account doesn't arrive

Wait a few minutes and check your spam folder. Make sure the email is spelled right: if it isn't, create the account again with the correct one. A sign-up that isn't confirmed within 7 days is forgotten, and the progress on that device stays there.

I don't remember my password

Under Account, when signing in, tap "I don't remember my password" and type your email. You'll get a link to choose a new password; it is valid for two hours.

I want to see or take my data

Account → "Download my data" gives you a file with everything we keep about your account. To correct something or for any other request, use the form under About Sortivara or write to us. Everything we do with your data is in the privacy policy.

I want to delete my account

In the app: Account → "Delete my account", with your password. It is deleted at once, with your progress and your diplomas. Without the app, ask for it at sortivara.levantapps.com/borrar-cuenta: we send a link to that email to confirm it is yours.

Diplomas

How do I get a diploma?

From the Archmage level on, every level you finish gives you its diploma. You download it from "My diplomas", and it needs an account, because it is in your name: the one you put in the account.

How do I check that a diploma is genuine?

Every diploma carries a QR code. Scanning it opens a page on sortivara.levantapps.com that says whether it is genuine, when it was issued and what it certifies, with only the first name. The code never changes: a printed copy stays valid.

Playing with your finger

Can I play without the camera?

Yes, the whole game. Choose "Play with your finger" when the app asks for the camera, or switch to "Finger" on any spell. Draw the spell on the screen in a single stroke, without lifting your finger. You can go back to the wand whenever you like. On a computer, you draw with the mouse.

I can't remember the movement

Tap "Help" on the spell and watch the stroke draw itself slowly over the scene. You can also shake the wand (or your finger) from side to side. Asking for help costs nothing.

The camera

Tips so it recognises the spell

I denied the camera permission and now I want to use it

On iPhone or iPad: Settings → Sortivara → Camera. On Android: Settings → Apps → Sortivara → Permissions → Camera. In a browser, from the padlock next to the address. Meanwhile, you can play with your finger.

Is my image recorded?

No. The image is never recorded, never stored and never leaves the phone: of what the camera sees, our server only learns whether the spell worked. The privacy policy explains it.

Other questions

The first time it asks for my year of birth

It is to treat each age as it should be treated. If the player is under 16, an adult who looks after them has to authorise it on that same screen. We don't keep the year: only the age band.

The app says your parent or guardian still needs to approve

In some places the store reports that the store account belongs to a minor and that a responsible adult has not yet approved the app, or has denied it. The app respects that. Approval is given from the store's family tools (Apple's Family Sharing or Google's Family Link); then open Sortivara again.

Do I need internet?

Progress is saved on our server, so it's best to be online while you play. Signing in to your account, buying or restoring the purchase always need it.
